Recently Planet us donated an amplifier to the school in Ilukgoda, so the children could use it for dance and drama classes 😁 🌞 ⭐

Dancing makes people happy, so we also like to facilitate in that. Smiling faces and happy kids is what we do it for 😊 🌱

Let me introduce you to mr. Laksiri. He is our trusted partner from the local cornershop in Ilukgoda 🏡

Due to the covid19 situation, our movements are restricted. Therefore we have to shop locally with mr. Laksiri. I have know him for over 15 years and have even worked with him on a Tsunami recovery project in 2005. Trust in our partners is important to us, and since he is a familiar face to all the villagers in Ilukgoda, he is the logical choice for our daily needs for our projects. For every problem, there is a solution.

Do you also have work arounds due to the covid19 pandemic?

During corona times we have made some adjustments

During corona times we have made some adjustments to our usual way of supplying Ilukgoda. Laksiri, the local legend from the cornershop is taking care of the supplies for the household book project. And as you can see, its still a happy bunch. Due to its isolation, the village hopefully gets safeguarded from Covid 😷 for now, stay safe and take care everybody!
